National Parliament House, the house of the Parliament Bangladesh, designed by Luis Isador Kahn, one of the greatest American architects of 20th century, no doubt the design of the parliament house of Bangladesh is one of his biggest masterpieces, which is also one of the largest legislative complexes around the world. This gigantic structure was greatly focused in the film “The architect” in 2003 by Nathanial Khan by Sun of Louis I Kahn. The construction of the building started in 1961 and halted during 1971 because of the Bangladesh liberation war. Mr. Kahn died when the project was about three quarter completed and it was completed by David Wisdom, an architect who worked for Mr Kahn. Ultimately it was accomplished on January 28th, 1982. Even if you are not an architect, if you just like interesting creations, this is a must tour for you.

At first, we will take you to see the building from outside – both north and south areas consequently Lake road and Manik Miya avenue. We may also have a short walk at Chandrima uddyan and later drive to the entrance gate. We shall complete the permission formalities and take you to enter inside of this dream building. It is allowed to visit the well-presented gallery and then to the library. After that, we will visit the north plaza and later into the atrium. In the meanwhile you will also enjoy the spectacular beauty of daylight coming to different angle into this building. We will spend approximately two hours and then drive to a local restaurant for some light lunch and then to a nearby traditional handicraft shop. After your happy shopping we shall drop you off.
