There are two types of people see a Tiger into the wild; Lucky ones and Unlucky ones! Most probably you will be the Luckiest one seeing only the Tiger’s footprint. Sundarban is the home of majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. It is the largest contagious mangrove forests on earth and located at the southwest of Bangladesh and declared as a natural world heritage site by UNESCO in 1987. It is the biggest delta formed by the rivers Ganges and Meghna. Sundarban is well-known for its scenic natural beauty and its high biodiversity both on land and water. There are more than 260 different species of birds including the waterfowl, raptors, kingfisher and white-bellied sea eagle. Sundarban is also home to many different species of mammals, reptiles, and fishes, spotted deer, Irawadi dolphins, estuarine crocodiles, river terrapin and famous Indian Python. Navigating through its maze like water channels, narrow creeks, heavenly nature, and spotting wildlife is guaranteed to deliver an experience of a life time.

Visit Plan

Day 01: Very early in the morning, you are welcome to the awaiting tourist vessel/ small group houseboat in at the jetty in Khulna. The boat shall immediately start sailing towards the south to reach the first day destination Kotka/Kochikhali. The boat will halt for a while to complete the forest permission formalities. We shall reach Kotka in the late afternoon. If time permits, you might go for some activity. Overnight on cruiser.

Day 02: This day we will be busy with full of activities – early morning a silent small boat trip to be arranged. After breakfast, we will have a 45 min walk through the gazing field & dense forest to visit a pristine beach. Returning from that walk to the house boat we shall have lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, we will offer you another trekking till sundown time. Therefore, you shall experience the enriched biodiversity and might spot pugmark and some wildlife. BBQ dinner and overnight on cruiser.

Day 03: The cruiser shall start returning, if time permit, we might arrange another activity for you. Cruise continues till we reach Khulna in the late afternoon. After an early dinner, disembark and get back to your hotel or catch your overnight train/bus from Khulna to Dhaka.

• If you want to join a group, the date has to be matched as per the declared tour.
• So we recommend to notify us minimum 30 days earlier of your trip date.
• For your private tour we can arrange with short notice.
• Dhaka – Khulna transfer requires overnight/day long bus/train journey
• Best time to explore Sundarban is mid October to mid February

Tips & Request:

• There are both Non-AC and AC cursing vessel. During winter season, Non AC vessel is fine.
• Do not forget to rap your bags without mosquito repellent, sunglasses, caps, long sleeves, suntan lotion, binoculars, nature camouflage cloths, wind stoppers, flip-flops and sneakers.
• Minimum luggage is recommended
• Wearing decent clothes is recommended while visiting countryside.
• It is very usual that the train gets delayed, so we request you to have that mindset.
